This is what Atlassian said: We will be moving all Studio users over the the new platform in the coming weeks, so as a Open Source project there is nothing you need to do to be moved over the the new platform.
As for the performance issues, I don't think the new platform will address those. However, when they are experiencing issues I suggest they raise a support ticket on our Support Portal <https://support.atlassian.com/> so the support team can look into it. If they have never used our support services before, they will need to signup first. I hope this helps. Please contact us if we can assist with anything else.
