You mean, under what license it will be available? I do not know about the 
different open source licencing options, maybe others can help.
As for maintenance, I don't mind handling it, but I would expect also 
contributions from the other members, like yourself and Alex.
In my mind, the first thing would be to release it without the Slyce 
branding - of course, we should always include a reference to them, and 
give them credit.
