I'm pretty new to NHibernate... Several entities in the system we're developing have a Color property of type IColorSource that represents a strategy for obtaining a color. There are several implementations of IColorSource, any of which could be assigned to any Color property.
Components don't seem to be a viable option given the varying implementations of IColorSource and the number of entities that refer to IColorSource. Is there a typical approach to mapping this and if so, what is it?
