Yes, application logic states its only 3 levels and I only need to do this for a query. I'm not getting any fails, I'm just wondering if I can do what I want with HQL or criteria. If not, I can drop down to code but I'd rather keep it in the DB.
I guess I could turn Lazy Load off for the whole aggregate but its a little tricky to do that due to the architecture design. Is there anyway to overwrite a <bag> mapping statement that exists in a base class by an inheriting mapping file?
