Thanks for the e-bay tips Bobcat. I checked there the other day but
had no luck. Still learning the subtleties of searching for parts on
e-bay and around the internet. The bike I had before the Nighthawk
was a 1971 Honda SL350. A little small for me, but was a fun little
bike and great for learning to ride on. Found a great shop in St.
Paul that helped me bring it back to life. Finding parts for that was
almost impossible. They had to hand cut a few gaskets for it. I was
hoping this one would be easier and in many ways I am sure it will
be. However I am finding that searching for this stuff can be a lot
of fun (provided you find it!). Thanks for the help.

I live north of the Metro in Fridey, MN. Been there for a few years.

As I am new to the Nighthawk, anything I should be looking for on this
bike in terms of warning signs of trouble? I have to replace the
valve cover gaskets and it has started the cam chain rattle. Anything
else I should be paying special attention to?
