I have traced the wire from the tack to the ignition module under the right side of the seat (yellow/green wire). My question is: Does anyone know what type signal I should be getting on this wire? Is it a pulse signal? Or does this somehow connect to the negative side of the coil through adjacent wiring? My tach doesn't work so I went to the auto parts store and purchased an aftermarket electronic tach. The new tach doesn't work either. That's when I started looking at the signal. Any help would be appreciated.
