Javier,
Saw your pictures. Looks like a beautiful bike! 1) The NH has no gas gauge. You just reset the trip odometer to zero each fill-up and head to the station when you get up to, say, 100 miles. The bike has a 4.8 gallon tank, so at 40 MPG, should go nearly twice that but allow for a margin of safety. The bike only needs regular 87 octane gas. You can use premium but I think it's a waste of money. 2) Your oil dipstick is on the right side, as you sit on the bike. It's a black plastic knob. Unscrew it, pull it out, wipe it, and reinsert without screwing it in. Then pull out again and make sure the oil level is between the two notches at the bottom. After checking, screw it back in tightly. Best time to check is first thing in the morning when the engine is cold and all oil has drained back into the crankcase, Be sure the bike is on a flat surface to get a true reading. Have someone hold it upright when you check if you don't have a center stand. Oil should be a golden color when new, getting darker as the miles increase. I change mine every 3,000 miles and always change the filter too. A Purolator PL14612 works fine, and costs half what Honda's does. 3) Honda will tell you to use motorcycle oil, but I've always used Castrol GTX 10W-40 or in the warmer months, 20W-50.? Other opinions may differ, and some riders prefer synthetics but regular auto oil will do fine.? Stay away from oil with friction modifiers. They mess up your clutch. Just get the regular stuff and your engine will be as happy as you are. Ride safe and enjoy the ride.
