1. take the light out to verify the bulb is good

2. clean em really well and see what happens

3. if you dont know how many miles are on the current oil, your best bet is
to go ahead and change it.

4. i go to dealers for parts

5. i just got mine, cleaned the carbs, was running before but after cleaning
the carbs ran better, also put seafoam in gas tank, check the tires to make
sure they are good, make sure the breaks work well, i also had to rebuild my
master cylinder and also both front break calipers. i have a 700s tho so i
dont know if you have dual calipers or just a single.
