I have a '70 Super Bee tucked away...383 slapstick auto. SHHH...don't tell! I bought a '72 Pontiac Tempest and it ended up having a 442 under the hood. I went out to the desert to buy a '64 El Camino and that Tempest was next to it. The fella said $200.00 for the El Camino (no motor) and for $300.00 for the Pontiacyou can drive that one home. He told me that it had a Pontiac 350 but I didn't look. While driving it home I could tell that was no 350! Don't you love these old timer stories? That was a long time ago. I still have the Pontiac.
