A BSA. Cool. That was my first MC in about 1965. In those days, I think the British bikes were made of whatever pot metal they could find. I remember, I had to replace my foot shift lever every month of so because it would strip on the shaft splines.
Later, when I switched over to Japanese bikes and I had to learn that the shift and rear brakes were on opposite sides, I think there was about week or so when I had a very short life expectancy until I got the new layout into my brain properly.
