I just checked my local salvage yard for a new ignition switch with good connectors. I found two others that where the plug had been burned the same as mine. I finally ended up with an ignition switch off of a Magna which worked just fine. The trick is to clean out all of the grease in the fuse block and make sure the electrical contacts in the connectors fit tight enough that no arcing takes place.
