Dear Nighthawk enthusiasts, I just bought my very first bike that is a 1991 Honda nighthawk CB750. I love it. It ran ok aside from obviously being laid down a few times. Recently however, after laying it down in my front yard accidentally I haven't been able to get the starter to work. At first I was able to get it to start, by popping the clutch, but now that won't even work. When I try to start it it just tries to crank, then starts clicking. I put a new battery in it, and the starter worked for a minute,. but then the clicking shortly thereafter. The only ways I have been able to get it to start is to jump it off a car, or pop the clutch. Now the starter is not doing anything no noise when I push the button, nothing. I was just wondering if anyone had any advice for me. could it be my battery setup. my alternator, I am going to get a battery charger tomorrow, but any help would be awesome thanks.
