I installed this Battery before last winter with Out a Tender.
It had sat in my Bike out in Garage in 12-30 F Degree.Temps
This is a Glass Mate Type Battery. You set it,, and Forget it...
Clean Neg. and Pos. Lugs, put some Dielectrc grease found
at any Auto Parts store on Lugs to Battery posts, and your
good to go. No Acid to fill and no migration to Pos + Post or
Battery Box. The link is for 400-450-700 ect..Bikes.
Hit Home Page to find your Battery. These Batteries
have higher CC Amps. If your Tech Savey, Put a Switch to shut
off the Head Lamp while the bike warms up, or if your doing
Maintence,,,ie Engine Off and On.... that will give the Stater
and Regulater an Easy job to recover Charging System with
out getting too Hot. Like an Old Car, Baby it... too last.
Parts are getting harder to find...Put a Switch to Break the "Ground"
of Head lamp when servicing and Warming up. A 45 Watt
Head Lamp drawes 6.5 Amps...not to mention the rear running
lamps 7-14 watts and the Speed and Tack lamps are another
12 Watts... It is a lot on a old and New charging System.
