Turn signals are more noticeable in amber. However, you cannot display amber
running lights to the rear (law) . I have seen red lenses used with front bulb
sockets to get rear running lights... does anybody see lights that flash red ?
I mean really see them. Too close to the running  / brake light. I use a an
additional brake light that just lights on braking. I figure that they had it
right with the "third brake light" on cars. It wasn't on before, now you see
it. A light that suddenly appears gets attention. Take notice that the front
turn signals don't just flash the extra element, they turn off the running
light and flash the turn signal element. Off-on, not on-brighter.

perhaps they do not have them in the rear (running lights) so as to distinguish
front from back. Bike coming at you should be more visible than bike going away
- or if the front looked the same as the rear you wouldn't know if the bike
ahead of you was coming at you or going away - until it was too late.

That's the way it's meant to be. The front ones are running lights as well as
turn signals.  The rear ones are just turn signals.

Sorry, I meant the lights DO NOT stay on. But just the ones in the back, the
ones in the front do stay on.

aren't the lights supposed to stay on?? if a fuse was broken they wouldn't
work at all, right? I have a '93.

I just noticed that my back  turning lights do stay on like the ones on the
front. They do blink left or right. Could this be due a broken fuse, or
something more complicated? It is a '96 NH 750.
 Thanks,

Javier.
