Buddy of mine bought these accessories for his HJC helmets. They were wind powered blinking LEDs. I rode behind him once or twice and they were pretty visible at night, and didn't look weird on the helmet during the day time. They didn't change with the brakes ofcourse, but they definitely made him more visible.
