Danny,
You are an unconventional sort of guy and I aaappreciate your comments; the
last time I went to an MD was back in something like  Jan '02 when I had that
bad accident:  hit from behind while on a bicycle, and left on the side of the
road for dead.
Other than a pain killer, re-locating my shoulder, and putting my broken arm in
a cast, they did little else.  I had no money so they kicked me to the curb to
fin for myself.
Had I known about CS back then it wouldn't have taken me over six months to
partially recover.  I had a topical infection - and fever - when I left the
hospital because they didn't dress the wounds on my back and sides from
scraping the ground.  My wife cleaned them up and dressed them.  Raw wild honey
cleared up the surface infection before it became internal.
Tylox made the pain of broken ribs bearable enough to sleep.
Don't get me wrong, there are good MDs out there.  I have been friends with a
few.  Two of my sisters are MDs, one a pediatrician here, and one an
anesthesiologist in Germany.
The several times I have needed one they have been lacking.  I have not needed
one except for emergencies, since I left home.  My father relied on the med
establishment and because of the myriad of shots the military required of him -
he was a lifer - he developed diabetes.  My present boss is beginning to suffer
from dementia and also has diabetes because he had to take those shots
repeatedly due to the fact that he went all over the world with his directional
drilling company.
I will enjoy my riding the rest of my days despite several accidents.  My
father had one accident and sold all of his bikes.   I will not take another
immunization shot. Nor will our sons.  They love riding on the back (or gas
tank) of my 450; soon, they will have their own small bikes  to ride: bicycles
with a 25cc Subaru motor on them like the one I made for myself.  Not a
Nighthawk, just a quiet little power assisted bicycle...
BTW, guys, Subaru is replacing Honda in the small engine department.  They're
just as powerful, quieter, and more reliable.
And, 225 mpg without my hydrogen generator.
Ride safe and stay healthy, everyone....

Stanley
