I know they make a lot of neat stuff. I use one of their products to remove old
wax and it works great. I'll look for the lens cleaner. My wife's Volvo
headlight covers are terrible. The spray stuff for refreshing a wax job is neat
too.

Not all stores have all products. The gauges turned out good, just took
forever. It was a winter project for my VF11. One of the biggest rats I ever
bought.

Dennis - did you know about Meguiar's lens cleaner, like for headlights? It
may have been a lot quicker. I have used my buffer and fine (machine) cut
cleaner and the yellow wax and cleared up many a lens on cars I have detailed.
I think they are polycarbonate also.

The material is a polycarbonate. Don't use a Dremel or anything like that, it
can't take any heat and will burn. I refinished my gauges starting with 600 wet
paper, Dupont #7 white , Semichrome, jewelers rouge. 20+ hours to do two
gauges. I'm sure there might be better stuff, but that's what I had. Watch TV
and rub.

The plastic that covers the gauges on my 700s is SEVERELY faded, to the point
that it is difficult to see the gauges. I'm wondering if anybody has had any
luck clearing this up or if I am wasting my time. I tried a polish that I had
laying around but don't seem to be making much progress. Perhaps I should go
get a heavier polish or even try wet-sanding? Thanks in advance.
