When i had my 99 250 i always found it dificult to get into nutural, i took it as a quark of the bike... But advice on this might be good for the new owner...

The clutch drags a tad, however. Just inconvenient enough to not be able to select neutral with the engine running when the bike is stationery. I select it on the roll and coast to a stop in neutral. I like it to start to engage about halfway through the lever travel. Other than the cable adjustments at the engine or handlebar is there any other place to adjust?
