My lone complain of shafties is you can't swap final drive ratios easily and I like to tinker with things like that. But yeah not having to get out the kerosene and scrub bucket every few thousand miles would be nice. I've always wondered if someone makes a fully enclosed chain lube setup. It'd probably look fugly but form follow function.
