check the marine section at your local walmart.... There about 1.5 inch long 
and have multi size hose barbs....

All of the glass ones I've seen at autoparts places, etc, are too big. They
have to be small enough to fit the tight area between the petcock and the
top of the carbs. The glass ones would be better if they came small enough,
and had 3/8" fittings instead of trying to clamp down a 3/8" hose onto a
1/4" fitting and wondering why gas leaks from time to time.
