I just got the mirror tint visor for my helmet. It cuts down on the glare during the day time and I can still see through it just fine at night. Even on the brightest of days it's enough for me and I have sensitive eyes to bright light. The only time I wear my sunglasses under it is if I'm riding directly into the setting sun.
