I'd go get the bike back from the dealer.  You can do a lot of bike
fixin' yourself for $379.  And there's no guarantee the dealer will
get it right.

Motorcycle repair is a lot like pc repair -- just dirtier (!)  If
you're smart enuf to do one, you're smart enuf to do the other.
Different skill set, but the mentality is similar.  Just look at all
the geeks we have on this board!

First step a model-specific Clymer repair manual.  Google for a source
and order online.  You can order parts the same way.  Carburetors very
rarely need replacing, but they do need cleaning and overhauling (new
rubber and/or brass parts).

As for the teeth-gnashing over riding time, think of it as delayed
gratification.  The ride will be much sweeter when you've done the
maintenance yourself.
