To make it even easier, park your bike on a driveway when convenient, front wheel facing toward the building. Most driveways have a slight downward slope to drain rainwater, even if you don't notice it. That slope will get gravity working with you as you lift the bike backward. I estimate it's about a third less effort than doing it on flat ground.
