I had a friend get hit by a bird right in the nose. He had a small windshield that didn't help. When I had my gl1200 I had one of the big water birds come out of the drainage ditch and grassed the top of the windshield. I don't think the windshield would have stopped him. there was allot of white stuff on the windshield I became a cotton picker.
