Ok, so 2 specific technical questions I ran into taking the first carb apart tonight. I'm trying out the embedded photos so let me know if they don't show up.
1) The float needle didn't come out with the float the way the manual said it would. In fact the gasket that seems to hold it in is very hard and I don't know what to do to get it to budge. I tried to pry at it gently and the top edge that holds the float bent a bit. I think I could fix it but I still need to get it out. Any suggestions? It has some wobble but it's just not sliding right out the way the photo in the manual shows. I've run into another inconsistency or two in the manual so I'm wondering if something is just missing. Some step, screw, etc. that's not jumping out at me when I look at the carb, or maybe I need to quit being a weenie and pull it out. I just hate to force it until I know for sure there isn't something else I'm supposed to do. [image: IMAG0257.jpg] Thanks again all.
