The click is the solenoid. Your switch is good. Make sure the battery is full or you wont have enought juice to turn the starter. Use a volt meter and make sure the lead from the solenoid to the starter motor is good. Try jumping the starter from the battery plus to the lead on the side of the solenoid that leads to the starter. You need a THICK wire to do that or just use a jumper cable or jumper pack
