A brass wire brush will strip rust but not damage chrome. I think you can then
just wax it to prevent further rust. You might want to google that one though.

Subject: [Nighthawk Lovers] tires/pipes

Hello all

so i took my bike to get it inspected and it didn't pass, bc of dry cracks
were more than 1" long. so i need to buy new tires and was wondering where
is a best place to buy.. I don't drive much so i don't think i need them
top notch tires...

another thing, i want to make that bike look like new and i got some rust
on the pipe. has anyone dealt with that?
or does anyone in the group has 4-1 vince hince pipe? is it loud on the
highway?

any ideas, please

thanks
