Well the carbs on my 750 only had 4 hoses. Fuel in from the tank in the middle of the bank. Vacuum to the petcock from the #2 carb. And two drain hoses between #1 and 2, also #3 and 4. I can't imagine a non CA version of your bike requires more plumbing. The rest of the CA emissions junk could be removed and plugged off. Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T

I know there are connections between the 2 carbs that I haven't figured out. A co-worker recommended a local shop and the owner told me $1000 to make it right and synch the carbs. I checked the mirror to make sure I didn't have stupid stamped on my forehead. What I would like to do is load the bike in my truck and bring it wherever the identical one is and connect all the hoses. I have an 1986 450SC. Mine is the California model, but I think I have the carbon canister hose routing figured out.
