On the NH I ran 87 with an occasional tank of the good stuff, the NH is a fairly low compression engine because it is air cooled. We have had a few rather lengthy debates over this topic in the past. I feel that I at least didn't notice any improvement from running high octain fuel, nor any degredation in performance by running regular fuel.
