I'd like to believe that even with a temporary plate (if he had one) that
it would be easy enough to track down a single bright red Ducati - so I
think he'd have eventually been found. If he hadn't stopped, evading arrest
and other charges of a similar nature could have been brought and those
would probably have been much worse than a single $1100 ticket.
Of course, if they never got a good enough look at the plate, it would
have been possible to evade, but thats not my luck :-) Hence why I don't
try :-)
