The bike was only listed for one day before he pulled the ad because it was sold.... (I'm slightly embarrassed to say) Yes, I bought it..... The bike was less than an hour away, and looked great in pics, and owner history was great as well!... I went there thinking I was NOT going to buy it, as I do not need any more bikes, and am only willing to buy close to "perfect" examples of these bikes from now on. This bike has never even sat in the sunlight; it was covered when ever parked outside during the day. Nothing is even faded on it, and not even a scratch on it (one slight scuff in one spot, but you have to really look for it). Guy bought it in '99, and only put 3K miles on it. It's been sitting in dry garage, and/or heated garage most of it's life, and no kids around it.
