Javier, removing the motor seems like too much work and struggle, untill you've done it. I've taken out the motor in my 91 750 and it wasn't as bad as I thought. It's just a lot of wrenching. I did it by myself too. Took it out one day, worked on it and put it back together the next day. I did take a lot of pictures in the process to make sure that I put it back correctly. If you have a friend to help, it's even better. I must say I was relieved when I got it started after reassembly. Of course I speak for myself and we all know ourselves and our limitations. Believe you me, there are things beyond my aptitude and I leave those to people who know what they are doing. Is it worth all the work and doing it right? You know the answer. Take it to a shop, or invite a few friends and get it done in one day. These bikes are worth it! I've watched videos of replacement on a GS and they left the engine in.
