Hi Guys, Been sitting on the fence just reading and enjoying all the stuff. Now, having got myself in a heap of difficulty, I am shouting help. Wit's end sort of stuff.
A long story short - on trying to resurrect my cb250 2002, the carb got messed up big time. Luckily I spotted one on Ebay which I was assured was the same carb for my bike. All seemed great until I tried to fit the sensor into the new carb. The hole is there but it is not threaded. Three questions from a complete idiot! 1. Should I just leave the sensor off and will the bike run ok? 2. What does the sensor do, anyway? Is it a throttle position thing? 3. If I cut a thread in the existing hole, would that be a solution or is there something extra within the carb? As I said before, I am truly ignorant on this score and would really appreciate any advice. Many thanks.
