Heck, I've carried 150 lbs of laundry weekly on my 10 speed bike weekly
(and motorcycle too of course). Thank goodness I've got access to a high
speed spin washer and dryer now.

Last weekend, I got my new dual part curved windshield, front end
springs/bushings/seals/boots, and my heated grips put on. I unloaded the
shield box and bags of parts (manuals, parts, solvent, tapes, towels,
etc...) from my US Army duffle bag (all together, about a 4' cube) in front
of the vendors door Saturday morning. When he got in, he looked at me
strange and asked how did I get all that stuff there (he rides and works on
Goldwings, or Honda's.) Like carrying big bags of laundry, you ride in
funny positions for however long you have to so you can get there. It's not
easy, fun, or even safe; but I don't know how else to survive
(economically) by yourself.
