Hello Everyone,
Hopefully I can obtain some more knowledge from this group to help
determine my issue I am having.

Some info:
-2000 Honda Nighthawk 750 with 20,500 miles
-Battery is brand new (purchased a 2 months ago).
-Starter Solenoid went bad about a month ago. Ordered a new one, replace it
and NH fired right up.

I was riding just about daily since replacing the solenoid. This past
Sunday, I was going to out for a ride and when starting, it was sluggish
and decided to help it by throttling a bit to get going. When that
happened, sounded like the starter solenoid went again. Clicking sound near
battery, pulled seat and confirmed it was coming from the starter solenoid
again. Without thinking, pulled it, checked the fuse in it, and ordered a
new one not to waste any time. (only $5)

Part received today, installed it and still getting clicking sound.

Things I checked:
-Battery fully charged (check via meter - also had it on trickle charge
since Sunday)
-Battery does not lose it amps when trying to start the NH

One thing I noticed, if the kill switch is either in “Off/Run”, the starter
solenoid makes the clicking sound when attempting to start the bike. Is the
switch faulty?

Thank you in advance for your time and assistance!
