I recently purchased my first bike...a 1991 Nighthawk CB750 with about 22k
miles. Love the bike so far. As I'm new to motorcycles, I have a question
on the use of the choke. I'm in the Chicago area if it matters, but when I
go to start the bike from a cold start, it typically doesn't require any
choke. If I do apply choke at all, it usually won't start.

Is this normal behavior? I figured it would need choke just to start when
cold.

Thanks!
