So a college kid near me bought a 1992 Blue 750 from the original owner and then parked it. That was in May. It's not running and the registration is past due and cash flow is a problem so he's selling it...... sounds like college to me. I saw it briefly yesterday. He told me where it as parked and I rode by for a 10 second look on my way somewhere else. Question: I noticed is that the cylinder heads are painted black. I've seen 750's with the cylinder heads painted black but I'm not sure if this is standard or if this is something people do to these bikes. The cylinders look like the one on Paul's Nighthawk page. Mark from Gallipolis, OH. That bike is a 2000 and Eric also on Paul's page but that's a 2002. I looking at Paul's page I'm seeing examples from 1998 with the black cylinders. I'll have to take a look but my guess is that the guy doesn't know what year his bike is. Any idea what year they started painting the Cyinders? He's asking $600 for the bike and everything looks really clean. Registration will be about $100 and I figure $300 for my mechanic to do everything I would want done: Oil, clean the fuel system, brakes, etc. I could do a lot of this myself but this guy knows these bikes, he has a 2003, and has been in business for 30 years working on Honda's. He'll hear stuff that I won't even notice. I'll let you know what happens. Sean
