I had a 1982 Kawasaki CSR 650 back in the early 80's. It was the smooth KZ 650 (h2) 4 Cyl engine model with slightly pulled back handlebars. I think the CSR naming meant Cruiser, but it was all KZ650 and was comfortable enough with slightly swept back bars to make an enjoyable long ride.
I'd consider a similar Sports - Cruiser bike today in a 550 - 750 CC.
