I have heard that all you should need to do is loosen up the mechanism so 
that it tensions properly again.
My 550 never got loud enough to fiddle with it. And it's at 40k now.


*On Another Note*
I have my 550 valve cover off and currently trying to figure out what I can 
do. My friends kind of expect me to try re-anodizing, but I really have too 
much to do to get set up for that.
Can you shoot us a picture of how the powder coating looks? I'd love to 
keep it stock but the finish on it really got bad.
