I am a biker from way back, now in my seventies. Rode big BMW's for many years, but couldn't manage big bikes any more- THEN-I found this old Nighthawk 650, that came into the UK via an American airman, and I found it to be light, manoeuvrable, and quick enough. I decided it deserved some re-furbishment , and it has been undergoing a lot of treatment over the last year, work being done by a bike engineer in his own workshop. Getting parts has been tough, and nearly always have to get stuff from the US, so many weeks between various jobs, waiting for deliveries! There is just not much for the Nighthawk here in the UK -especially the US shaft drive version. Patience will be rewarded-i's beginning to look good. Dave Hunt, England
