I know this is a long shot, but I'm fixing up my dads old 1984 cb650sc and the one part I can't find anywhere is the tool box cover/lid. Finding originals is next to impossible, but with such a large community still riding the nighthawks you'd think there might be an aftermarket part to replace them. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to be the case. Then I found a light at the end of the tunnel, a person on another forum, http://ujmforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=291&sid=abb322048682734f312d2d8f3c55b875 , has made a mold from an original and made a replacement! I don't know if he still makes them or if he'd be willing to sell them, but it would be nice to have that as an option to replace them. If anyone here has an original cover would you be willing to try to do a similar thing, or try 3d print them, just so we can have an aftermarket supply to replace them when they decide to walk off?
