I I hope that you get the tapping done without any troubles. I had the same issue and was unsuccesful twice. I ordered a brand new one from https://en.impex-jp.com/ you just need to know the part number. I just did a quick search and the part needed is just the main petcock body part number 16951-MJ1-015 <https://www.partzilla.com/product/honda/16951-MJ1-015?ref=54df8bbaa9cac79ebf44deaac46ddbba50b944f1> Impex has it for about $65 plus shipping. As always photos of the work you are doing and your bike makes me happy. I hope you don't have to order new. Once again good luck getting the job done with no leaks.
