So I just got a nice 1983 Nighthawk. Everything was working fine, but the headlight housing was cracked - so I decided to fix it. Upon taking the headlight out and disconnecting the 3-wire plug, I had noticed there was a green and an orange wires that were not connected to anything. After fixing the housing and putting the headlight back in, all sorts of things started to happen - 1. Left turn signal started to blink rapidly 2. Left turn (rear) signal doesn't work at all 3. The bike did not start and the battery seemed to die within minutes. I am just not sure what exactly happened - I did not tinker with anything else. I might have pulled the front (headlight) harness a bit forward when fixing the plastic housing (I had to undo the two bolts holding it together), BUT that's about it. Also, the two loose wires - I am not sure if they came apart while I was tinkering with things or not. Need help! Thanks in advance, Jenya
