F70 Built in Flash [v04.n160/13]

Hi Nikoneers

I must apologize, I need to rephrase my question.  It should read as
follows with the amendments in caps

I was reading through my F70 manual and it says that TTL Flash is NOT
possible with manual focus ZOOM lenses, only with prime lenses.  Does any
one know the rational to this?
