Remain that Kenko makes a kit of extension tubes that
(with my F801s + AF-D objectives) retain all the
capabilities of the AF-D objectives:
all metering modes, including matrix metering, and
autofocus  (although I find AF quite useless with
more than one tube attached), at least with AF-D
objectives, I dont know what happens with AF-S lenses.
