This is one of the terrible dangers of these safes. I have found that in
mine, if I don't open it at LEAST once every two weeks and air it out, I get
condensation on almost anything in there. I've had passports, and such
completely ruined by this.
I would NOT allow the negs to dry. Anything that may be on them would then
(if it hasn't already) imprint, and destroy the negative. I once tried this
without washing, needless to say, I won't ever do THAT again.
