I currently have the 80-200/2.8ED, D, N, AF. Its a beatifull lens. I was wondering if I should get the TC-201 2X converter for it. Nikon literature states that there will be some vigetting. Has anyone had experience with this conbination? Do you loose D and matrix metering? Lastly, when choosing protective filters for the above lens, would most people recommend B+W, heliopan, hoya, or tiffen? There is a big price difference between them.
