I own this lens and can assure you that it is very good - I would even call it unbelievable for the price. I also have the Nikkor 20/2,8; that one is slightly better built (mechanically) and seems to be a bit more contrasty, esp. with short focussing distances. But I have never realler evaluated the differences systematically. Best, Christian
