I have read a number of postings on the Omni bounce and in fact posted my own but somehow it did not get to the digest. So I am gonna try again. >From my experience the best way to use the omni is to tilt the flash head vertically up. The result is though not as soft as without the omni and still gives a shadow but it is much much better than direct flash. In fact, given the option of bouncing my SB25 (w/o th omni) and using the omni, I would chose the omni option everytime! Maybe you would like to try it out?
