Dear Nikon specialists, yesterday I found at my local dealer an AF Nikkor 50 mm f/1.8 "new" (Made in Japan) with a S/N 427xxxx. Does some of you know what the difference between this "new" version and the older one is? Which one is more recommendable? Most of the AF Nikkors 50 mm f/1.8 I have seen in the last time are "Made in China". Is some of you aware about the differences between the China Nikkors and the Japan versions?
